i was quite annoyed that housekeeping just walked straight in without knocking twice (i was here for 5 nights). apparently, she needed to use the plug socket to vacuum outside. this is completely unacceptable and needs to be addressed immediately. also, the shower started flooding the bathroom floor after only a minute, i had to stop showering to let the water drain.

the staff on reception was very helpful and polite. rooms were cleaned daily. the hotel offered excellent fresh fruit , yoghurt, continental and full english breakfast. we enjoyed meat, pasta, pizza, grill and fish dishes. salad and veg dishes were abundant. sweet courses were varied.
it was difficult securing a sun bed in the sun, as some were in the shade depending on time of day. we did succeed most days in enjoying relaxing. it is usual difficulty in all hotels.

i had a double sea view room on the tenth floor. the view out to sea and over the town was great. the room was nicely decorated and cleaned daily. there was also a facility to dry clothes on the balcony. i found the staff friendly and helpful, which i appreciated.
the shower had mould around the edges of the enclosure. i consider this a potential health risk. the hotel owns just five irons, so i had to wait a couple of days before one became available. i was charged a €20 deposit for it. there was a burn mark on the ironing board.

staff members were welcoming and courteous. customer service was of a high standard. i was pleased with the quick and efficient responses i received when i had questions. the team created a positive atmosphere.

the breakfast buffet featured a good variety of choices. the restaurant was clean, and the staff were helpful; the food was excellent. the sky bar on the tenth floor was lovely. i liked the views from up there.

the location was central, near shops, buses, and the train station. the hotel is literally in the town centre; i could walk everywhere. its location allowed easy access to local attractions and transport links. everything was very convenient.
